"The Clock Tower near Tonbridge is breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself is artfully designed and furnished, and the impeccably-manicured grounds are spacious and inviting.
My children (aged 7, 5, and 1) loved exploring the garden behind the house. They were delighted to find rabbits, frogs, and ladybirds to chase after and spent much of their time scouring the orchard for apples and blackberries.
Sarah is a gracious and helpful host, and the whole family was thoroughly pleased with the extent to which she stocked the house, especially the kitchen, with an impressive array of upscale amenities and treats. Even seasoned cooks will find everything they need for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For dining out, there are several charming restaurants in Matfield, which we found to be a very pleasant area.
We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and wholeheartedly recommend The Clock Tower to anyone looking for a memorable holiday not far from the London area. Many thanks to Sarah for sharing your very special property with us; we wished we could have stayed longer!"
We had a memorable stay in the Clock Tower while visiting Kent for a wedding. The house and grounds were lovely and Sarah was a most gracious host. We are privileged to be the first satisfied guests to sign this book, we surely will not be the last!
We had a fabulous Christmas here with my nephew & sister's family, and found the accommodation to a very high standard, very well equipped in the kitchen area, in fact the whole accommodation was very well equipped to a very high standard. It was a privilege to be asked to stay with the family and have a most enjoyable xmas stay.
We had a lovely time, nice & peaceful. Our rooms were great, the local pub The Star was OK as well.
We stayed over New Year and used it as a base to visit friends and family. We also got stuck here due to blizzards in the US affecting our travel! The whole stay was fantastic. Beautiful conversion done with such thought and style. Would love to come again, if we are brave enough to travel to the UK over Christmas next year!
